Synopsis
The movie, , is based on Kong Ji-Young's bestselling novel. The relationship of one girl, and a man on death row gets the audience to ask themselves, what true love really is. Yoo-Jeong (Lee Na-Young), once a talented singer, is constantly haunted by a traumatic incident from her past and tries to commit suicide several times. Yoo-Jeong is then introduced to a man on death row by her aunt, Sister Monica. The man, Yoon-Soo (Kang Dong-Won), was convicted of three counts of murder and lives each day in darkness. The two wounded souls slowly open their hearts to one another and find motivation to live.

View Point
based on Kong Ji-Young's novel, is a story where two people find love in the midst of despair and hopelessness. On one hand, there is Yoon-Soo, a man awaiting his death sentence, and on the other, Yoo-Jeong, a college professor who chooses to visit a man on death row instead of getting counseling. The two meet every Thursday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and slowly begin to open up to each other. The title is somewhat of a paradox. This is because Yoon-Soo and Yoo-Jeong's happy time is destined to end with death.
